Wear It Pink…Join PTSG in Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is a time when we come together to recognise, reflect and act in the face of breast cancer…a disease that touches thousands of lives across the UK each year.
Each year in the UK, around 55,000 women and 400 men, are diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s more than 150 new cases every day. 1 in 7 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
On Tuesday 21 October, we invite all 3,000 colleagues, to wear a pink item, big or small, as a visible show of support. You choose the shade, the style: a pink scarf, tie, socks, shirt or badge.
We’re asking you not just to wear pink, but to sponsor or donate, in support of Breast Cancer Now. You can give personally or ask others to sponsor your pink look for the day.
Please join us in getting behind this important cause and let’s try and help to raise as much as we can for Breast Cancer Now.
Don't forget to tag us in your photographs or fundraising efforts so we can share them on Friday 24 October as part of the celebrations for the national Wear it Pink Day.

Breast Cancer Now's wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people will wear it pink in their workplaces, communities or schools to help make life-changing breast cancer research and support happen.
