Story

Hi,

We thought we would do some introductions to the team and what each person is going to be doing.

Purple Balm have decided to make Pete's Dragon their charity of the year. This is such an amazing charity, offering training to those that can make a difference and make people more aware of the struggles that life throws at some of us. They support families that are going through, what can only be explained as unmanageable pain and what most of us will never experience.

Please help us to raise money for this amazing charity so they can continue to provide support to those that really need it.

My name is Lee Tobin - As this charity faces tough challenges on a daily basis, I thought it only fair that I challenge myself to do something that will test my body physically and mentally. I will be attempting to complete the following events, over the next coming year. I have copied a link to each event. At the moment there are only two events but I will be attempting 3 myself. Once these have been confirmed we will add them to our profile.

Let the fun commence!!

My name is Katrina Cox - I thought I would challenge myself by swimming the distance of the channel over 14 days. This equates to swimming 100 lengths per day every day as well as continuing the other commitments with work, gym classes and teaching Zumba. This will both be a physical and mental challenge. By coming out of my comfort zone I will experience mental hurdles that I will have to overcome to complete the challenge.
