I found a leaflet in one of my magazines showing distressing pictures of young children with flies around their eyes, their eyes becoming infected and eventually unable to see. I understand that people don’t go blind by the millions, they go blind one by one. This quote is from one of the Sighsavers founders in 1950, and I understand this still rings true today.
