Story
On the 17th July I will be taking to the skies for Pilgrims Hospices in memory of my Dad Bob Willis. My Dad passed away in 2017 of prostate cancer. For his 70th birthday we took to the skies in a helicopter, which he thought was amazing. In July this year he would have turned 80, so I thought I would mark the occasion by doing a tandem skydive in his memory.
Pilgrims Hospices nurses and support staff provide skilled and compassionate end-of-life care for people living with life-limiting illnesses across East Kent. £10 could pay for a patients meals for the day £25 could pay for an hour of specialist nursing care, £35 could pay for our Community Team to hold a video consultation with a patient in their own home £45 could pay for a one-to-one bereavement counselling session for someone struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one. By sponsoring my challenge, you'll be helping Pilgrims Hospices to be there for the next family who need their specialist end-of-life care. Thank you!
