Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

About me:

I’m Rachael, I am 27
& have recently been diagnosed with Epilepsy.

After being diagnosed in November 2020, I decided to look into some fundraising events that epilepsy Scotland take part in, to do my bit in helping out... I thought I’d sign up for this seven summit trek, as this last year getting out for some fresh air has been so so important to me and so many others (even more so when I am not able to drive)
As I love a good walk and even more so a challenge... t
his fundraiser means I can get involved in something fun, while raising money for an amazing charity!

About the challenge:

Based in Edinburgh, this one day urban challenge will take me to the summit of 7 hills. Taking me to hidden parts of the city, whilst being challenged over a tough 35km  trek that includes 900m of ascent ~ Following historic waterways, forgotten railways, stop offs at castles and climbing to the summit of an extinct volcano and taking approximately 10 hours to complete!
