Mums husband Kevin was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in June 2021 and devastatingly passed away 8 weeks later. It wasn’t until he was allocated a bed at Pendleside hospice that his pain was finally managed, mum was able to access support and Kevin passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. 

It costs £12,500 to keep the Hospice running for one day, so every penny that is raised is so important. You may never know exactly how your support will help but you can be assured that the impact your support will have on local families who can benefit from the Hospice services at one of the most difficult and emotional times will be huge and every so appreciated.

We are taking part in the Morecambe memory walk, which is ironically where mum and Kev had their first official date, and we would be incredibly touched if you can spare some change to help us raise money for the hospice.
