We raise money to support Noah's Ark Children's Hospital

Story

We are running the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise vital funds for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity in Wales which supports my little man Jake who has had his 10th operation there this year.

Born with Hirschsprungs Disease and Coeliac Disease, he was one of the most complex babies at the time in Wales and continues to both challenge and surprise the medical team. He has fought battle after battle and the team at Noah’s Ark have been there every step of the way.

As a Family Ambassador for Noah’s Ark and as a family we support them as much as we can. This will be mine and my partner in crime Nic’s (with whom I couldn’t do this without!) biggest challenge yet since we met at the start of the year and built a friendship on our love for running and our families. Please help us raise vital funds so they can continue to support the children of Wales and beyond. From the nurses including Nick’s very own Auntie Julie who has cared for Jake to the stoma nurse who answers my emails on her days off we are running to acknowledge their incredible work too x
