I've already completed the Liverpool half marathon, Triathlon and cycled 100miles to raise awarness and funds for 'Clatterbridge your Cancer Centre'. Now for the final push the Liverpool Marathon on Sunday 9th October 2011.

'Clatterbridge your cancer centre' is the only charity to raise money to directly benefit Clattebridge cancer patients across the region. All money rasied and donated allows Clatterbridge to improve the care, treatment, support and facilities we can offer, along with funding vital research into cancer treatment.

For example:

- A £12 donation could pay for a session with our Speech and Language therapist to help patients who are experiencing communication and swallowing difficulties.

- £60 could provide a wig for one of our patients and help alleviate some of the emotional stress of cancer treatment

- and if I raise my £500 target it could cover the cost of a trip out for our teenage and young adult patients or pay for 50 sessions with Clatterbridge's counsellor or it could even fund a week's worth of vital cancer research.

So whatever the amount you donate you know you'll be making a huge difference to the lives of Clatterbridge's patients.
