I have decided to stretch myself to the limits and take part in my first marathon for a charity that is very close to my heart.

My dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Throat Cancer and had a long battle trying to beat this horrid disease. Being a stage 4 cancer, the odds were definitely stacked against him BUT, thanks to the incredible work that charities such as the Institute of Cancer Research undertake, he was miraculously given the all clear. 

So i'm running my first marathon to not only raise critical funds for this amazing charity, but as a means of saying thank you. Their research really is incredible and saved my dad's life.
