Story
This Ramadan (2016) We will be travelling to Masjid al-Aqsa with Al Buruj Press inshaaAllah.
As part of our trip we have been given the opportunity to raise money and get involved with distributing aid bought with these funds to the poor in Al-Aqsa (100% donation). We are asking all our contacts to please contribute as much you can to this cause.
We will be able to ensure that your donations are distributed as follows:
1) 33.3% to Iftari in Masjid al-Aqsa and Jerusalem in the odd nights, we will do live distributions on the 25th, 27th and 29th nights of Ramadan. This will help thousands of poor people. Many people who attend in the nights of Qadr cannot afford Iftari food. we will be serving people in their thousands insha'Allah.
2) 33.3% to the New Madrasah located in next to Masjid al-Aqsa founded by the President of Masjid al-Aqsa himself. This is for children and also caters orphans etc. This is a new unique project which we will visit whilst we're there and is something which we will leave long term insha'allah with our own very hands.
3) 33.3% to Penny Appeal's Feed the World programme which provides 1 million Iftaris to some of the most deprived people around the world. **If there is anyone who wants their money not to go to this and only to Jerusalem/Masjid al-Aqsa, please inform us and this will be done**.
All money donated will be used entirely for the above causes, no admin fee.
This is an amazing opportunity to help feed and facilitate Islamic education for our brothers and sisters in this blessed land during Ramadan. Al- Aqsa is sacred to all Muslims and mentioned numerous times in both the Quran and Hadith, thus we are blessed to be given an opportunity to help those living there.
Please donate as much as you can and make dua Allah blesses our journey and accepts all our efforts.
Ameen.
JazakAllah
Raeesa and Naveed

“Glorified be He [Allah] Who did take His servant for a journey by night from Al Masjid Al Haram to Al Masjid Al Aqsa, whose precincts We did bless, in order that We might show him some of our Signs. Verily He is the All Hearing, All Seeing” [Surah Al Isra 17:1]
Abdullah Ibn Umar (ra) relates, I asked the Prophet (saw), "Apostle of Allah, tell us the legal injunction about (visiting) Bayt Al-Maqdis (Jerusalem)." The Apostle of Allah (saw) said, " Go and pray there. If you cannot visit it and pray there, then send some oil to be used in the lamps". (Bukhari)
