Reading Half Marathon 2018 · 18 March 2018 ·

Buscot Ward needs 2 brand new, incubators to help the doctors and nurses continue to deliver the best possible care for babies on Buscot.

Story

*UPDATE* Due to the Reading Half Marathon being cancelled today, due to the snow, we have booked ourselves to take part in the Grand Union Canal Spring Half Marathon on 8th April 2018! All the blood, sweat and tears over the last few months wont go to waste as we will continue to train and raise funds to support our charity of the year BIBS.

BIBS help to give sick and premature newborns at the neonatal unit (Buscot Ward) at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading the best possible start in life.

Jason, Tom, Chris, Debra, George and Claire (from the TSB branch in Reading) are running to raise £1,500 towards BIBS’ overall goal of £40,000, which will contribute towards two new incubators for the neonatal ward at Reading's Royal Berkshire Hospital.
