Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. This trek is to raise awareness of Leukaemia & other blood cancers, the devastating impact it can have, sometimes long after remission. The complications, the watch and wait journey, transplants, hospital isolation & the engraftments. We are fundraising for Bloodwise, the leading charity for research & support for anyone affected by blood cancers, but it is not all about the money! Equally important is raising awareness of the implications patients face when living with any type of this cancer. Regular transfusions, stem cell issues and the need for transplants. That is why we are asking friends and family to support us and consider donating blood/stem cells or by just simply having the organ donation conversation with your own loved ones. Dropping by your local blood donation session would give someone something money cannot buy. Sometimes pints can help more than pounds!
