HOLY CR*P i am running a marathon!
soo we all know i can run and LOVE doing so, Me being me applied on the whim and then WHOOPS managed to get a place before thinking i actually HAVE to run this thing! the problem is ...........26.2miles...... welllll thats a WHOLE different ball game compared to running on the treadmill + spinning!
so heres the reasoning and my persuasion for you to donate your pennies! whilst i was growing up my dad help co-run a social club for disabled children, i was initially taken there at just 3weeks old and so the club was always a prominant feature in my life. My parents would organise day trips, holidays and just fun things for the kids to do in a safe setting which they wouldnt otherwise be able to experience. mencap is a charity that work very closely people with disabilities to allow them to live life and do things we take for granted without discrimination

initially i got into running in my dad's memory, he had run the london marathon 11 times........ i NEVER and always said i would NOT do it EVERRRR in my head its a ridiculous thing to do. Run 26.2 miles non-stop are u crazy! clearly dad was and now soon will i be! So with dad's memory and Mencap as my motivation here i am training to do just that; for a great charity my dad will have been proud of me running for!
NOW i need to train... and seriously .. YES in the freezing cold at 6am int he picth black AND RAIN pounding against my face! AHHHHH (OMG what have i got myself into!) BUT to motivate me i am hoping you will be able to sponsor me i have a ridiculous goal to reach BUT its high BECAUSE IM NEVER DOING THIS AGAIN and it will get me through that training! this is going to be HELL of an emotional journey for me- i burst into tears when they called me to say i got a place! yep pathetic i know BUT it has to be done!
