Rebecca James is raising money for UK Sepsis Trust

Team: Ultimate 3 Peaks for Sue

In memory of Susan James
Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

My darling mum Susan James died suddenly on June 30th 2022. Mum was beautiful, full of life, love and laughter and was taken too soon.

In the loving memory of our mum we would like to raise money for this amazing organisation in the hope that their research and developments can spare other families of the pain of losing someone they love to Sepsis

My brother Daniel and I are taking on a series of challenges and planning events over the next year, to raise money, raise awareness and honour the memory of the woman who guided and shaped our lives.
