Tens of thousands of migrants are currently still stuck in Greece's refugee camps. Among these are many children, having fled their war-ridden countries, who are confronted daily with the angst and trauma of having no place to call home, and no guarantee of a safe future. No child should go through such distressing events at such a young age At Wind-Up Penguin, we believe every child on this planet should have access to the crucial elements of a healthy childhood: laughter, stories, games, and a safe space to play and be creative. This is why, this summer, we are sharing a new music theatre performance with children in orphanages, slums, NGOs, and special needs centres in mainland Greece.
