In May 2009 my Mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer, she fought so hard with such bravery and dignity but unfortunately lost her fight in October 2010. Last year I ran my first Race for Life to give thanks to Cancer Research for all the treatments they have funded which enabled me and my family to have an extra 18 special months with my Mum. I love and miss my Mum so much so this year i shall be running in her memory and this time i know she will be beside me.
