Hi and thank you for visiting my Race for Life fundraising page.

This will be the second year I have participated in the Cancer Research UK Race for Life. In summer 2006 I ran because I wanted to do something to help with contributing towards Cancer Research UK and the invaluable work they do. I had an amazing time and was inspired to meet so many women with stories of bravery and survival. I was proud to race along side them with the same goal: To raise money for Cancer Research UK.

In late 2006 at age just 26 I faced the frightening possibility of cancer. This instantly changed my whole outlook on life. With luck the results were negative, however I know for thousands of people each year this is not the case. By sponsoring me you can help fund the invaluable work done by Cancer Research UK.

This year I will be running for the patients, for the families, for the hospital staff, for everyone who has battled cancer and survived and for those who have sadly lost their lives.

Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me now you could help more people survive cancer.
