We would like to share a success story. In Neha's words -

 

She is my dearest friend - all fun, happy and regular person just like you and me.

 

I still remember when she first told me the news. Breast cancer! She was 26! Impossible, joke, come on! Did I say any of that stuff? Nope I didn't. I just stared at her blankly. Cancer, what!?! Cancer doesn't happen to normal people like us. Cancer happens to those people out there, who we don't know, whose life struggles are different from ours. We are happy people, safe people - Safe from all the bad things like Cancer. But I guess we are not safe after all.

 

She fought the cancer back with all her will power, strength and usual grace. She wasn't alone - she had all her friends and family. But that wasn't enough. She needed Doctors, Nurses, latest developments in science and technology, and of course, our love and prayers along the way. She got all of this and became a success story. This year is her 5th cancer free year.

 

She is a hero and I am her very proud friend !

 

Yes, Cancer can happen to any of us and it is happening out there and we all need to come together to fight it back and Together we will beat cancer!

 

Fight against cancer needs us - our love, our care, our determination and our support.
