I’m participating in a Rough Runner a 10k obstacle run (think ninja warrior meets total wipe out) on the 5^th October, to raise money for children diagnosed with AADC (Aromatic Amino Acid Decarboxylase Deficiency). The simplest way of describing this is that it is an infant form of Parkinson’s. This is an ultra rare disease and currently affect on 5 children in the UK. The monies raised will go towards receiving treatment abroad, which currently is not available in the UK. The BASIC cost of each child's treatment is 68,680 Euros- excluding travel.
