My name is Richard Evans and I am currently Captain of Langland Bay Golf Club. Throughout the year I have raised money for my chosen charity which is the Behcet's Syndrome Society. 

I have chosen this charity as my sister, Cath, has this lifelong illness and she has been helped immensely by the Behcet's centre in London.

Golf has played a huge part in my life and I have been fortunate to be a member at three courses in Glamorgan; Langland Bay, Radyr and Rhondda Golf Club.The challenge is to ride from my current club, Langland Bay, to Radyr Golf Club, then to Rhondda Golf Club and back to Langland which will be a nice round (but not flat) 100 miles.  

I will be supported by 10 friends who will join me on the ride, and one driving the Bond Car sales support vehicle.

We plan to do the ride on either Saturday 3rd or Sunday 4th September 2016, whichever day has best weather forecast.
