Story
In exactly 4 weeks, I embark on the journey of a lifetime (so far…).
In 4 weeks I’ll already be on a plane flying from Gatwick to Antigua to take part in a yacht race called the Caribbean 600.
It's a race that will be take me around all the islands around Antigua, starting on the morning of 19th February and lasting about four and a half days. Nonstop. Correct, there will be no getting off the boat in this time, barring medical emergencies or other disaster. Some of you may recall me doing the Round the Island race last year, going around the Isle of Wight. That was a mere 56 miles or so - this will be 600 miles. You may also recall that I posted a link to raise some funds last June - and this time I’m doing the same. Last time it was for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, and this time I’ll also be offering a link to that as well, but I also think it’s fit to raise something for the struggling islands that we are sailing around after being hit by hurricanes last September so I’ll also be offering you the chance to support Global Giving’s fund that’s helping the islanders recover from the recent disasters that hit the islands.

Pop round for some Caribbean Rum a week later!
