On Sunday 2nd October I will be running the London Marathon  to raise funds for our local hospice  . Pendleside is a very special place that provides care and support for people with life changing illnesses and their families . This October marks 20 years since I came to work at Diamond Smiles Barnoldswick ,and through that time I have met many families and friends who have been supported by Pendleside at the most difficult times in their lives.

The last 2 years have been very difficult for Pendleside which relies on public donations and charity events to fund ever increasing running costs. Their work is invaluable and their care free of charge to those they serve

I keep telling myself that my creaking legs have one more marathon in them so here goes!
