Story
Thanks for visiting my page!!
The reason I am trying to raise a minimum of £4,000 is simple, I am aiming to climb Mount Kilimanjaro at the end of next January to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign!!!
In order to complete the climb I have to raise a minimum of £4,000 by 4th NOVEMBER so every little helps!!
From 25th September 2010 a team of us are also doing the 3 Peaks Challenge. This involves climbing the 3 highest mountains in the UK (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon). The challenge is to climb each of the 3 mountains within a 24hr time period!
Just Giving is also a great place to donate from because donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity!
The reason I am raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is because it is a hereditary illness that has effected my family, my mum has muscular dystrophy, and my gran also passed away due to the illness many years ago.
As yet there is no cure for muscular dystrophy and therefore all donations are very important!!
For more information on Muscular Dystrophy visit the campaign website at http://www.muscular-dystrophy.org for more information.
Thank you for your donations!
