Story

Dear Friends

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online!

About the fundraising event

The idea is to walk 100 holes in one day for The Honeypot Charity. It is approximately 60km and will take 14hrs of daylight! The challenge is mega but, with strength and support from friends, it will be truly phenomenal!

The challenge will take place in Vidauban, Var, on September 10th, 2006 at the private golf club Le Prince de Provence.

Why Honeypot?

Through the golf world, Honeypot came to my attention and it was immediately obvious that this was the charity I wanted to help. I was even more motivated to walk for Honeypot once I realised that about a quarter of the children that visit the Honeypot House originate from my neighbourhood within Inner London. They provide these children a much needed break in the beautiful English Countryside, with the chance to play in safe surroundings. Something most of us take for granted these days.

About the charity

Honeypot’s vision is for every child to make the most of their one chance at childhood. Since 1996 we have been working to enhance the lives of vulnerable children and young carers aged 5-12 years by providing residential respite breaks and on-going outreach support.
