Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've just completed the Plymouth Half Marathon in 1:51 hr for the charity HUSH (Haemolytic Uraemic Syndrome Help), the UK E.coli Support Group.

HUSH was set up to support those affected by E.coli O157 and to raise awareness of the bacterium.

This charity means a lot to me and to my family as my cousin Joanna (aged 6) died as a result of E.coli O157 poisoning in 1994.

Any money raised will help those affected by E.coli O157 and will hopefully help to prevent future occurrences of it.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity

It raises awareness about E.coli O157 and HUS by providing information and literature to members of the public and medical professionals. It supports affected families and can put them in touch with others who have suffered a similar experience in the past.
