Story
I am raising funds and awareness for sepsis uk as I tragically lost my mum to sepsis and cancer, she was an nhs nurse and matron for 40 yrs and if people new her you would no that she was so careing and would help anyone pls donate in her memory as she was a real inspiration to me and was always there in my time of need and I was so proud to call her my mum .the work she did and the care she gave to the young and the old told a story of what sort of person she was the energy she had towards her job told the story of how she loved her job and helping people and to lose her to cancer and sepsis was heartbreaking so if I can achieve and raise a bit of money for this charity would be fantastic .the uk sepsis trust are ambitious but we need your help.COVID-19 has been a stark reminder of the potentially devastating impact of severe infection and, like many charities, weve been hit hard by the pandemic. But, with 245,000 people every year in the UK developing sepsis, 48,000 of whom dont survive, its more important than ever that we continue to educate people about the dangers of sepsis and the signs to look out for, as well as being there for those who need our support. We're proud of what we've achieved since our foundation in 2012, but there's so much still to do. Your help at this crucial time will enable us to:Educate more people about the signs of sepsisSupport an increasing number of people affected by sepsis and COVID-19.Thank you so much! I am
