Story

Hello! We are Josh Nagy-Koechlin (Son) and Carl Nagy-Koechlin (Dad),  and we are riding our bikes across the United States to raise money and awareness in the fight against homelessness.

(Carl) I have spent my career in community development fighting for affordable housing and helping develop opportunities within underprivileged communities.

(Josh) I have learned from the work my dad does and the world around me that Housing is essential for nearly every other aspect of life, As well as how difficult it can be to get out of homelessness, even for those working tirelessly at it. Along with an understanding of these important social issues I have also gained from my dad a passion for cycling.

(Carl and Josh) Together we have decided that there's no better way to do what we can to help this massive social problem than by checking this monster of an adventure all her bucket list. We hope you help us along the way!

About the charity

Founded in 1969, Pine Street Inn provides a comprehensive range of services to nearly 2,000 homeless men and women each day. We are the largest homeless services provider in New England, and could not do this important work without the support of our donors and local community. Since that time we have been providing a comprehensive range of programs and services, including housing, emergency services, and workforce development. Our ultimate goal is to end homelessness by making permanent housing a reality for all.
