Story

Hi all, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On April 1st Simon and I ran the Reading Half Marathon on behalf of our Charity Basingstoke Hoima Partnership for Health. Simon finished in 1 hour 48 mins and I finished in 2 hours 19 mins. It was a fabulous day and we really enjoyed it.

Our Charities aim is to improve health care for the people of Hoima Uganda; Particularly the care of mothers and babies. Please visit the website for info on various Charity projects: http://www.bhph.org.uk.

I have worked with the charity in Uganda six times now and would like to raise money with the intention of sending more volunteers to help at Hoima Referral Hospital.

Simon who has also worked with us in Uganda also ran for the Charity: http://www.justgiving/simon-bates-bhph

We hit the tarmac hard over the winter months and it paid off! It was all worthwhile and big thanks to everyone who gave us support and encouragement!

It goes without saying that every penny counts, so please dig deep for the women and children of Hoima.

Thanks for your support J

Rob
