For our first time, we are attempting a competitive cycling event. Basically, this is a 24 hour team relay cycling event with a twist! It is over the night during which the clocks go back, so we will have 25 hours of racing around Windsor Park, tagging ourselves in and out to maintain (hopefully!) a good pace to clock up as many laps as our legs can manage! There will be up to 200 teams of 4 riders (plus a mechanic!) taking part, so this will be a challenge for sure! Each lap is slightly over 4 miles, and we hope as a team to complete at least 100 laps, or 410 miles of peddling!!!
