Story
Robin Smith our Husband, our Dad, our Brother, our Uncle and our grandad was sadly diagnosed with Bladder Cancer last year so we decided to take part in the Marsden March as something for him to look forward to and as a thank you for the continued care that both the Chelsea and Sutton hospital had given Robin. Our plan was for him to be waiting for us at the finish line (by the nearest pub!).
Unfortunately, this now is not the case, as although he was told he was cancer free, the big C came back in 3 different places. Of course, our Robin is a fighter and wouldn’t let this get to him, however after a very short battle, our Dad, Uncle and brother was taken from us far far too early. Our whole family is absolutely devestated and heartbroken.
The funniest, kindest, most caring, most silliest! And just the best man ever is now up in the sky looking down on us all whistling eating his custard and, telling us all to keep strong and carry on being the closest and strong family that we are.
We all love him so so much and the Smith family will never be the same without him.
Royal Marsden were absolutely brilliant and need all the help they can get with funding.
So please please give as much as you can but if it’s only £1 that will help!!
Thank you all,
The Smiths xx
