I am hoping to raise money for Action for M.E by taking part in their Walk with M.E fundraiser.

Along with the support of a team of fellow sufferers we will collectively walk 1,000,000 in 100 days. 

A seemingly simple feat for someone in relatively good health which goes some way to highlight the struggles faced by the sufferers of this terribly misunderstood and under researched illness. 

Having personally experienced a relapse in the latter parts of 2021, I have been fortunate enough to begin to recover at a decent rate. I have also had luck on my side to experience only mild symptoms for the majority of my last 8 years of living with this illness. 

I am personally walking for those who cannot.

I have had tastes of how difficult life can be when you are not only hamstrung by an outwardly invisible illness but are also told time and again by people that they just don't believe that it even exists. 

I could go into much more detail about my experiences but I am here to raise money, raise awareness and raise spirits, hopefully!

Action for M.E. are the only charity working to support people of all ages living with M.E., through their Information, Support, Advocacy and Healthcare services. Action for M.E. also campaign for change and invest in biomedical research.
