Story

Ron sadly passed away on 13th October 2021 after losing his battle with cancer. He was supported in his last few weeks by St Davids. The family would like to thank the fantastic team there and help them to provide other families with the same care in such difficult times.

Ron will be sadly missed by many. He represented Wales in the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff in 1958. He was a popular and much loved landlord of several public houses including The Racehorse Inn, The Mount Pleasant, The Griffin Hotel, The Locomotive and Railway Inn, The Lord Raglan and The Wayne's Arms.

As many of you will know, Ron raised thousands of pounds for charities through the years. To continue this fundraising spirit, in lieu of flowers, please donate to St David's Hospice so they can continue to support families in their difficult times. Raising money for this cause would be a fitting tribute to a great man.
