Story

Rosco’s 15k Pub Run

I’m going to run 15k.
Furthest I’ve ran in the last year is 7k.

I’m raising money for the hospice of where my Brother Luke Days dear friend Bryan McMahon spent his last days, at The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, before losing his battle with cancer.

I think it’s such a great idea to create other ways to raise money for charities in a crisis like this, they’re pretty fucked without massive social event fundraising going on, like The London Marathon.

I’ll be doing this in Haringey, North London. The Same day and time as The London Marathon would have been.

I’ve decided to run to all of my favourite (closed/lockdown) local pubs in Haringey.
(At least I won’t get lost)

Starting from my house I will run to these pubs:-
Sunday 26th April 10.00am

Jam in a Jar 10.06am

The Salisbury 10.07am

The Faltering Fullback 10.22am

The Queens 10.33am

The Golden Compass 10.40am

The Great Northern Railway Tavern 10.41am

The Toll Gate 10.46am

The Westbury 10.50am

The Bluecoats 11.06am

The Beehive 11.11am

The High Cross 11.14am

True Craft 11.19am

ThePalm.N15 11.24am

Home 11.30am

Thank you Clarke Stevens for the opportunity and idea. Here are some of his words.

We have two new runners Ross Joseph Day and Anna Garlic joining us on the backyard Runathon! Ross and Anna will be pushing themselves to run their longest run as yet....would you like to join us for a Backyard run?

We will start at 10am on 26th London marathon day but we are calling this Backyard Runathon as you can run it in your backgarden, front garden, side alley, front lawn, hallway or wherever you can. You decide how far you want to run, choose your charity and live stream or just take photos and get awareness of your chosen charity and maybe some donations to help them in this time!

Please join the group and come along for a Run-Athon....

Also please share and donate.

If your not using Facebook I’ve set up a Just Giving page too:-
