Story
Thank you so much for reading my page!
My name is Rosy and I am training to take part in a London to Brighton cycle challenge for Open Doors.
About 5 years ago I heard a talk by Open Doors, and my heart broke as I heard stories of Christians in Syria, and what they had endured because of their faith.
It is now 5 years later and many thousands are still living as refugees, unable to go home and facing persecution daily. I am also greatly inspired and challenged by the strength of their faith. Since that moment I have been passionate about supporting the persecuted church - whether that be in prayer or by raising awareness. I'm always looking for new ways to support them; this cycle ride allows my cycling to have a purpose instead of just burning off all the chocolate and cake I eat ;)
I'm hoping that my cycle ride will achieve two aims. Firstly, any money raised will go towards practically supporting Christians facing persecution across the world and secondly it will help raise awareness of the issue of persecution that so many Christians face.
It would be fantastic if you could support my challenge and the work of Open Doors. Thank you
