Next year I’ll be running the great north run in loving memory of my gran ,Norma . She was diagnosed with lung cancer early 2022 and she battled it for nearly 11 months and even beat covid during that ! Gran lived her life to the full but when she struggled with her health before she passed . She was sent to St Benedicts Hospice in Sunderland who provided end of life care, advice and support for patients and their families. 

I couldn’t fault the work and support of all the nurses at the hospice and can’t thank them enough for what they did for my gran during her last days .. so to repay them back I will be raising money from them and in memory of my gran .
