This year will be my 2nd Round the Island race. We will be sailing 'Hardi Enough', a 38ft Bavaria yacht. This is the largest yacht race in the world with around 1500 yachts taking part. Hopefully there will be enough wind to complete the course this year! During my first attempt we were moored and raced next to one of Ellen MacArthur yachts. I was able to witness first hand how beneficial just being able to take part in such a race was to the young people recovering from cancer. Please donate if you can to this worthy cause, so that the Ellen MacArthur Trust, can continue to support and develop the self confidence of young people recovering from the Big C.
