The National Animal Welfare Trust cares for and rehomes over 1300 animals a year, from cats and dogs to smalls and sheep! Active in all the communities it serves, the Trust has 5 rescue centres in the south of the UK, supported entirely by the generosity of the animal-loving public.

Story

Support our fantastic team of marathon runners will be running 26 miles and 385 yards, Sunday 25th April.

 

Founded in 1971 the Trust is now one of the top 10 animal rescue and re-homing charities in England, and runs 5 rescue & re-homing centres across the country. Our centres are located in Watford, Berkshire, Essex, Somerset and Cornwall.   

                                                       

The Trust is Home to a surprisingly wide variety of animals primarily dogs and cats but farm animals, horses and donkeys, ducks, poultry and small domestic pets too.

 

The Trust is a non-political and non-campaigning organisation, it simply concerns itself with looking after some of life's casualties. It receives no money from the government and relies entirely on voluntary contributions to carry out its work.
