Story
Having ran the London Marathon last year, I decided that a new challenge needed to be tackled this year, and thanks to a South African friend of ours, we have decided to take on the gruelling 56mile comrades marathon in South Africa. It is the "down" year I am pleased to say which means it's mainly downhill but it still must completed in under 12 hours or else I don't get a medal!
Why do I do these stupid events? Well, having grown up with my mum suffering with Multiple Sclerosis, she has been my rock and inspiration in life, inspiring me to push my healthy body to its limits! 1 day of running is nothing compared to everyday living with MS. Please please please donate some money to the MS trust who continue as an incredible charity, to support all those living with MS.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Thank you
