London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·
I'm running the 2018 London Marathon, in memory of my younger brother Owen Carey, raising money in support of the Anaphylaxis Campaign
In particular I am seeking to raise awareness of severe allergies in adolescents and young people (15-25), who are most at risk of severe allergic reactions (Anaphylaxis) as they transition into adulthood

My brother Owen died tragically in April 2017 as the result of a severe allergic reaction to food whilst eating out on a trip to London. He had just turned eighteen. Although he suffered from severe allergies for most of his life he never let this hold him back, he lived life to the full with his many friends and loving family, despite the restrictions on his health and diet
