In July I had the bright idea of running around the world.  This event will be my first step towards achieving this long term goal. I will be running to work, leaving our Leeds office, flying to Amsterdam and then running to our office in Essen, Germany from the 20th to 24th October - a total of 300k over 5 days

This is my first test, running solo over such a distance and I must admit its a little scary and 50k more than I've ever run.The route will take me along the canals off the Netherlands and largely along the Rhine River through Germany, to arrive in Essen on Tuesday 24th October. I will be solo, sorting my logistics and route as I go, carrying all essentials including food, toiletries, medical supplies and clothing. 

It would be great if you could support me in this epic Run to Work challenge, by either running to work yourself, or by donating your petrol or train/bus fare equivalent for the 6 days I'm running.
