A life devoted to architecture has driven me to throw myself off the top of Battersea Power Station this Sunday, not because of overwork, but because I'm a great big icon geek. The fact that I've never abseiled before didn't seem to cross my mind when I signed up to this, and now it's less than a week away, I'm beginning to see the folly of my ways...
