Samuel is 7 years old & likes dinosaurs, penguins, Star Wars & Harry Potter. He was born with a defective heart valve, had a life saving operation at 4 weeks & is likely to need surgery this year so that his heart can cope with a growing body. The Children's Heart Federation is led by parent volunteers & supports families dealing with congenital heart disease.  

I was fortunate to be born with a healthy body, which after all these years still works & believe we should not waste the gifts we are given in life. I have signed up to ride with Daventry Cycling Club to Paris as a chance to raise my fitness & raise money for a good cause at the same time.
