Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, RyanEndures. I really appreciate the time you are taking to read my story and why I'm fundraising for such an amazing cause, the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

Over the course of the next year, I've chosen a challenge which is the most ambitious and frankly, borderline unachievable challenge I could think of for myself, Ironman UK Triathlon. Ironman UK is a 140.6 mile long triathlon, which is also the one of the toughest, hilliest Ironmans in the world (Thanks a bunch, UK terrain). Think of it as a 3-for-1 sponsorship! A single donation grants you the knowledge that I have to suffer not just once, but 3 times, once for each leg of the Ironman! 

And suffering, will be guaranteed, considering before this challenge I was a wannabe gym rat who is heavier than he should be due to poor fork control...

Ironman UK is a triathlon made of 3 legs to be completed within a time limit on the same day. It starts at around 6:00 in the morning, and you have until midnight to complete the full 140.6 miles. There’s a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile cycle and after those ever so slightly tiring 2 legs, theres a full marathon before bedtime, resulting in a total of 140.6 miles worth of fun in a single day.

Simply put, the more money we manage to raise together, the more children's lives we can change for the better.

Great Ormond Street Hospital does such incredible work with children who suffer from incredibly complex and often incurable diseases which impacts their entire lives. I want to raise money to help their cause of granting children and their families the opportunity to live full lives, free from disease. If the money I raise contributes to helping just 1 child and their families put on their bravest faces as they go through unimaginable challenges on a daily basis, then this fundraising campaign will be an incredibly huge success in my eyes.
