Story
Since my Dad passed away in June 2020, I've been amazed to learn that hospices receive very little Government/NHS funding. They are an essential part of the healthcare infrastructure but are often overlooked.
Dad received excellent, compassionate care from the hospice and I've been volunteering there since late 2020.
I've always been TERRIFIED of the idea of a skydive, as heights are my worst fear, but I've also always been grimly fascinated with the thought of giving it a go. When the opportunity to raise funds for Ashgate Hospice by doing a skydive landed in my inbox, I decided I had to take the opportunity.
My sister will also be taking part so if you're feeling extra generous, please visit her page via the Team Harrison link, too.
Thanks for all your support,
Ryan
