Story

In the USA, the CDC estimates 3000 people die from foodborne illness annually.Imagine if ten planes fell from the sky EVERY YEAR and 3000 people died due to a preventable system failure. The demands for answers, solutions, and changes would be deafening. For more than 28 years, Stop Foodborne Illness (STOP) has been working toward solutions and collaborating with like-minded partners to build bridges and find answers that will protect everyone. It is a matter of life and death! TODAY we are working on projects targeted at altering foodborne illness statistics. Everything we do, we do to STOP 3000 people from losing their lives from something as fundamental as eating. With our industry, regulatory, and consumer partners, we are focused on changing behaviors and processes. Help us give 3000 silenced voices an opportunity to be heard. Participate in STOP3000 and double your donation -- thanks to a generous $100,000 challenge grant -- that matches dollar for dollar when you give.
