Ukraine Crisis Appeal
Campaign by The British Red Cross Society (RCN Eng/Wales 220949,Scot SC037738, IOM 0752, Jers 430)
Ukraine has faced almost eleven years of conflict. To date, Red Cross and Red Crescent staff and volunteers have been able to support more than 18 million people impacted by the crisis.

Story

The British Red Cross has launched an emergency appeal for Ukraine.  I'm running the Cambridge Half Marathon in support. Will you support me?

This unprovoked attack is hitting innocent people on personal, psychological and medical levels, bringing death, injury, separation from loved ones as well as the huge mental toll of ongoing violence and insecurity.

How will your donation help people in Ukraine?

Right now, the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal will help people get:

  • food
  • water
  • first aid
  • medicines
  • warm clothes
  • shelter
In the longer term, the Red Cross undertakes to:

  • Repair vital infrastructure such as water stations
  • Support small businesses with cash grants or equipment
  • Raise awareness of mines through training run with the URCS and providing mine warning signs to mark dangerous areas.
  • Help repair homes, healthcare centres, and schools.

Thanks for your help.
