We are raising money for Alcohol Change UK in memory of my dad, Andy Mair who sadly passed away in 2024 as a result of alcohol addiction.

My dad is a big part of who I am now and continues to inspire me everyday. He had a huge passion for his career in engineering, learning and working on engines, his talent playing guitar, and love for music. My dad was incredibly driven. He worked hard throughout his life, valued education, and was always looking for ways to progress both personally and professionally, and achieved a great deal.

Alcoholism affects millions of people and their families, yet it is still often misunderstood. Too many people see addiction as a choice or a lack of willpower, when in reality it is a complex disease that can have heartbreaking consequences.
