Hi my name is Sam, I'm 24 years old and am looking to challenge myself and in doing so raise money for a fantastic charity. I heard about the Ride to the Rugby charity event for Ty Hafan and instantly thought it would be an excellect opportunity to combine the both.

My cycling experience is... well shall we say limited! I cant remember the last time I cycled more than 5 miles let alone 320! What have I signed up for! Especially as all the training will be through the cold winter months... Woops. Woolly hat - Check, Mittens - Check.

Joking aside, what we will be doing is for a really worthwhile cause. Ty Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales.
They offer comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their homes. With every penny you donate you can help ensure this quality of care and support is still available for those who need is most.
