I’m running the 2023 Edinburgh Half Marathon in memory of my mum (Judy Garrett) who passed away from Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in January 2022.

I am raising money for MND Scotland, a charity that focuses on “making time count”. MND Scotland provided vital support to our family throughout a very challenging time including providing care workers, support modifying the house, and preparation for the next stages of the disease. This support helped us make the most of our time together. 

I’m certain that all money raised will have a significant impact on future individuals who are diagnosed with MND in Scotland, and go a long way in supporting their families and loved ones.
