GOING ON A BEAR HUNT

On the 2^nd October the girls and I (and Marley of course) are planning to do a sponsored walk for Jacob and George's 10^th birthdays. The Chislehurst Bears are rather special to us and there have been lots of new bears added recently. So we thought we’d try to walk round and find all 30!

We’ll be starting at Chislehurst High Street, going across to Belmont Open Space, up to Scadbury Park, through to Chislehurst Station, then to Elmstead Woods Station and ending at our bears at Walden Recreation Ground. I think the walk will take about 2.5 hours but as we don't know where all the bears are it might take us a lot longer that that! 

Jacob was born prematurely on the 2nd October 2011 and sadly was not able to stay with us very long. He passed away shortly after birth. His brother George was born four days later on the 6th October 2011 but he was not quite strong enough to make it through the delivery. They will always be remembered by their parents, sisters, the wider family and our friends. 

We would like to raise money for Twins Trust Bereavement Support Group who gave me lots of help as a newly bereaved mum. I later went on to become a befriender myself and spoke to other parents who had lost twins. 

The Twins Trust Bereavement Support Group (BSG) exists to support all parents and carers of twins, triplets or more who have died whether it was during pregnancy or after pregnancy.
